The event program is divided into two seminar sessions. The first session examines the development of the landscape architecture field in Finland from its early days to the present. The second session looks to the future and addresses current trends and developments. The second session, featuring international keynote speeches, will be held in English. The first session will be spoken in Finnish. The seminar program consists of presentations and panel discussions. The day will culminate in an celebratory dinner party.

Peter Veenstra, LOLA Landscape Architects
Peter Veenstra is a landscape architect and founding partner of LOLA Landscape Architects. LOLA (LOst LAndscapes) is an international design and research practice known for redefining the role of landscape architecture in addressing climate change, urbanization, and biodiversity loss, aiming for a future that is both sustainable and culturally inspiring. Peter’s presentation in the second seminar session of Landscape Architecture Day will address the impacts of artificial intelligence on landscape architecture and industry practices.
